1. Who is TIP?
TIP’s range of services covers the care, maintenance and repair of all types of tractor units and trailers in 19 of its own workshops in Germany and over 100 throughout Europe.
This makes TIP one of the leading and manufacturer-independent rental companies for commercial vehicles in the transport and logistics industry. In addition, as a workshop and service provider, the company runs its own workshop network.
2. What services does the cooperation with TIP include?
Through TIP, our transport partners have access to a comprehensive range of services consisting of three elements:
Workshop agreement
The workshop agreement enables our transport partners to have truck repairs carried out at workshops in Germany at discounted, fixed terms. The services are billed as required, therefore no ongoing costs are involved.
Breakdown service
The 24/7 breakdown service ensures Europe-wide assistance in case of a breakdown and is carried out by the respective country partners of TIP. This means that our transport partners can count on fast support in the event of an emergency.
Invidual service agreement
The maintenance and repair of trailers and tires is also taken care of. For this purpose, TIP offers a service agreement that works similar to an extended warranty and ensures that the trucks remain in good condition.
